I am the middle child, the only girl, the pragmatist of the three. All three of us are retired Air Force members. 18 months separates my older brother and I. We were very close growing up and we are very close to this day. (I will be writing a blog about him as each of my brothers deserve their own). There are 7+ years between myself and my younger brother. Sufficed to say we were not very close growing up as we did not grow up at the same time. However, we are very close today and he is crazier than ever! Whenever I see my phone light up and it has his name on it (Randy), I know it’s going to be something good! He’s someone who can make me laugh with his impersonations, his jokes, and witty comments. When he was in the Air Force, he worked in the medical facility and wore a Buddy the Elf costume to work and would hop down the hallway just like in the movie when Buddy would hop across the street in the crosswalk! Randy REALLY likes to try and get under my skin as well. He knows I cannot stand the Christmas song, Christmas in Kansas City but he will call me and leave a voicemail and the only thing that will be playing is that song. Additionally, I do not like the Jardiance commercials. The jingle just drives me nuts – well – he will have a conversation with me and sing everything he needs to say so it sounds like the jingle! UGH! He’s NUTS!
Well – just yesterday – I received a text from my “Little” brother…and it went something like this…..
Does anyone else have conversations with their siblings like I do? I think I have the best brothers in the world! If you want the best candy handed out by the best individuals, in the most fabulous costumes, then I suggest you come to Kansas City where you will get to see, who I affectionately call: The Great RANDino, The RAND Ol Opry, RAND-a-Roni and Cheese, RANDomly Selected for Your Listening Pleasure, RAND-a-doodle-doo! My little brother, who I love the mostest – Randy!
