Easter – The holiday for Smashers Dino šŸ¦• Eggs!

I’m on my way to spend some time with my two best friends in the widest world and I’m so stinking excited! Going to Washington DC to enjoy the cherry blossoms for one of my besties birthday. The other bestie has two little boys that I cannot wait to hug….and corrupt! Of course I brought surprises for them both…..Smashers.

I had no idea what Smashers were when my friend told me but I knew I had to find amazing ones…and I did! Fire breathing Dinos!!! šŸ¦–

When I received them in the mail I thought, ā€œThis box is pretty big for eggsā€. I questioned if they were going to fit into my ā€œpersonal bagā€œ on the airplane. Let’s just say I made them fit! Let’s see what TSA thinks of them, shall we…. Off I go.

This is what was in my bag x2!

I was extremely popular with the TSA agents. My bag was flagged for inspection – SURPRISE! The TSA agent pulled my bag over to the side and asked me if there was anything in it that would pinch, cut, stab or harm her in any way. I told her there were Dino eggs 🪺 inside. Another TSA agent asked if they were REAL dinosaur eggs….REALLY?!?!? Real dinosaur eggs?!?!? These are the people keeping our skies safe! Smh šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø The first TSA agent proceeded to remove the eggs from my bag and place them on the counter. They were a huge hit! Everyone was asking about them and where they could get one. People – they’re toys!!! I got mine on Amazon as my daughters and I perused the aisles of Target and Walmart and could not find the ones I got. Anyways, after much handling of the eggs, I was able to put them back in my bag and go find my gate.

As I’m boarding my plane, I’m waiting for an individual to put her bag in the overhead when I heard my bag ā€œroarā€! The two individuals seated in the aisle seats also heard my bag. Yes – I had to explain. After laughing for a bit they both said the eggs seemed like really good surprises. We shall see.

I did text my friend and told her about my TSA incident and how lots of people wanted my eggs. She told me that I better not give them up as her oldest son has been good at school and was going to try his best today because he hopes I bring him a surprise….. Kid, you have no idea the surprise that’s coming! I’m going to be his favoritist!!!

My friend picked me up at the airport but did not have her boys with her. They would be home later. I showed her the eggs and she just said, ā€œOh my goshā€ and started laughing. Once the boys arrived, we played for a little bit outside and then came in to get dinner ready. I was playing with the youngest son and I told him I brought a surprise. I then asked him if he wanted to see. Of course he said yes. The older son was playing with legos. We went to my bag and when I unzipped it he immediately tried to pick one up…. He was able to get it out of the bag but needed a bit of help. He took one to his brother and I held the other one. Once his brother saw what we had he was immediately excited. He kept telling me, ā€œThank you so so so so so so muchā€ and ā€œThis is what I wantedā€. We had to wait until after dinner to ā€œsmashā€ the eggs and I will say I’ve never seen two kids eat spaghetti that fast!

Once dinner was over, the smashing began! There were all sorts of pieces. There were mini dinosaurs in the little eggs and the big dinosaur came in parts. The arms and legs were buried in slime and there was also some sticky-like substance ….. almost like moon sand. ALL MESSY!!!!! Once we got the parts cleaned and the big dinosaurs put together, they actually roared, lit up and had steam come out of their mouths! These dinosaurs were cool!

Did the boys love them? Well, they played with them the rest of the evening and they are currently asleep with their very own ā€œSmasherā€ dinosaur protecting them. Yep – I’m their favoritist!

Until next time…xoxo

Tracy
