My Fav 🐄

My mom and my daughters are my favorite people to spend time with. They’re also my favorite people to mess with! Case in point….

My mom and girls are my favorite šŸ‘†šŸ»

I purchased that lip tattoo pen that stays on your lips for 10 minutes before you peel it off. Once peeled, it leaves a beautiful, dark pink color to your lips. I was hesitant to try it so I thought ā€œlet’s have the girls do itā€. My youngest was up first. I asked her to try it and she was all for it. Once it was applied she looked at me and said ā€œI’m rocking this goth lookā€. The stain was dark. I was a little worried. She also made note to ā€œnot rub your lips togetherā€ā€¦noted. Once the 10 minutes was up she peeled the stain right off. One additional thing we both had to note….DO NOT use if your lips are chapped! Her lips were chapped and the stain left them darker where the skin was new! She asked me how long the lip tattoo lasted…It didn’t say!šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

This is how full her lips are…. This is NOT the stain

Next up…my older daughter. I asked her if she wanted to try it and she said sure. Now, she didn’t heed the warning and rubbed her lips together. The stain gets very sticky. Once the 10 minutes were up she had a harder time peeling it off. I don’t think she coated her lips fully…plus the rubbing didn’t help. She liked the color and it looked really good.

The ultimate test…my mom! We go to her house every Sunday for dinner and I made a point of putting the lip tattoo pen in my bag. I have to say, my mom is a HUGE lipstick gal. She wants lipstick to stay on her lips regardless of anything she does, whether it’s drink coffee, MMA fighting, doesn’t matter. Once we got to her house I told her I had this lip tattoo pen that she needed to try. Her response? ā€œLet me wipe this off first (her current lipstick) and get my mirror.ā€ She stopped cooking dinner, wiped her lips with a tissue, went into the bathroom to get her hand mirror and proceeded to sit down at the kitchen table. You all – this lady applied this lip tart liner like a well-seasoned Avon lady…or circus clown šŸ¤”ā€¦ not really sure which. Her lips were completely covered. They had to have been with the O shape she was making while applying it! She waited the allotted 10 minutes, and peeled it off with ease. Her take on it ā€œTrace, I think I like this stuff!ā€ Yep – she’s a fan! The girls and I appreciated but laughed so hard at the application process! My mom is serious about her lipstick! šŸ’„

Peeling of the stain. Note – Not my family member

Now – please don’t think it’s always me messing with my mom and girls. It’s mostly me but they get their jabs in. For instance – one morning I was going to wash my face and my younger daughter was in the restroom washing hers. She turns the light on that is over the bathtub. I don’t think that provides enough light so I turn on the main light. Plus, I have older peepers and she’s always giving me a hard time about it. She thinks the main light is too harsh. Well, when I walked in to wash my face she says, ā€œJust wait until I wash my face and put my contacts in and then you can turn on the surgical light.ā€ Rude!!!

Until next time…xoxo

Tracy
